About CES Tuition

CES Tuition is an online tutoring management platform operated by Cannon Education Solutions. The Platform connects students, parents, and tutors to facilitate scheduling, booking, and payment for private tutoring lessons.

License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use CES Tuition for booking and managing tutoring lessons.

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use the Platform only for lawful tutoring and educational purposes
• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the system
• Not use the Platform to harm, harass, or defraud others
• Attend scheduled lessons or provide adequate notice of cancellation
• Treat all tutors, students, and parents with respect
• Not share account credentials with unauthorized persons

User Roles

Students

• May book lessons with available tutors
• Must have parental consent if under 18
• Responsible for attending scheduled lessons
• May share parent email addresses for notifications
• Must not solicit teachers for private tutoring arrangements outside the Platform

Parents

• May create and manage student accounts
• Responsible for payment of lessons
• Receive notifications about student bookings
• Have full access to student schedules and progress
• Must not solicit teachers for private tutoring arrangements outside the Platform

Teachers/Tutors

• Must provide accurate qualifications and availability
• Responsible for delivering quality instruction
• Must maintain professional conduct at all times
• Required to honor scheduled lessons or provide adequate notice
• Must not solicit students or parents for private tutoring arrangements outside the Platform

WhatsApp Notifications

• We send booking confirmations, reminders, and cancellations via WhatsApp using Twilio
• WhatsApp notifications are optional; you can opt-out at any time
• You must provide a valid phone number to receive WhatsApp notifications
• Standard messaging rates may apply from your mobile carrier
• We respect your communication preferences and "Do Not Disturb" settings

QuickBooks Integration

• QuickBooks integration is used for invoicing and payment processing for tutoring services
• You authorize us to access your QuickBooks data for invoice creation and payment tracking
• Invoices are generated for lesson bookings and credit purchases
• You can disconnect QuickBooks integration at any time from your account settings
• We are not responsible for QuickBooks service availability or errors

User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining your account security
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

Credits and Payments

• Lessons are booked using credits purchased through the Platform
• Credits are purchased through QuickBooks invoicing
• Credits are non-refundable once applied to your account
• Credit balances do not expire while your account is active
• Unused credits cannot be transferred to other users
• All prices are subject to applicable taxes and are set based on tutor tier levels
• Payment is required before lessons can be booked
• Referral credits may be earned by referring new users to the Platform

Lesson Bookings and Cancellations

• Lessons must be booked in advance through the Platform
• Cancellation policies are set by CES Tuition and by default, a minimum of 24 hours notice is deemed sufficient to avoid a cancellation fee. A minimum of 12 hour notice will result in half the lesson cost being charged and less than 12 hours notice resulting in full cost of lesson being charged. You may cancel any lesson at any time in the lesson event window using the cancel lesson button.
• Tutors must provide reasonable notice for cancellations
• Rescheduling is subject to tutor availability
• Recurring lessons can be set up for weekly tutoring sessions

Service Availability

• We strive for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be performed with minimal disruption
• We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control

Intellectual Property

• All Platform content, features, and functionality are owned by Cannon Education Solutions
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform
• CES Tuition and related trademarks remain the property of Cannon Education Solutions
• Tutors retain intellectual property rights to their teaching materials

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We provide the Platform "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for the quality or outcomes of tutoring services provided
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• We are not responsible for disputes between tutors and students/parents
• We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes or results

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access:

• If you violate these terms
• For inappropriate conduct toward tutors, students, or parents
• For fraudulent activity or payment issues
• For prolonged inactivity (12+ months)
• If required by law
• At our discretion with reasonable notice

Upon termination:

• Your access will be revoked
• Account data may be deleted after 30 days
• Outstanding invoices remain payable
• Scheduled lessons may be cancelled
• Unused credits will be forfeited

Data and Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this agreement by reference.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

1. Direct communication with CES Tuition support team
2. Formal mediation facilitated by CES Tuition
3. Binding arbitration or court proceedings in the UAE as a final resort

For all disputes between students, parents, and tutors, CES Tuition will actively participate in the resolution process. The company reserves the right to make final decisions regarding scheduling conflicts, payment disputes, and service quality issues.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
